Original Bucyrus maps (including the earliest plat from 1822)
Original artifacts from the family of Samuel Norton, who plotted the original lots for the town of Bucyrus in 1821-1822, aided by Colonel James Kilbourne of Worthington, Ohio (including the Norton family Bible containing entries in Samuel Norton’s handwriting and a handcrafted corner cupboard made by one of Samuel and Mary Norton’s sons and donated by a member of the Norton family)
Furnishings (including mirrors, light fixtures, and bookcases) as well as photographs, papers, and personal effects original to Scroggs House and to the Scroggs family who settled this plot of land in 1839 and continued to own this important historic site until 1966
