Situated on one of the original Bucyrus lots established in 1821 and owned by a single family from 1839 to 1966, the Scroggs House museum portrays the past through unique characters, artifacts, photographs, and documents. Whether planning to attend a special event or a regularly scheduled open-house, the Bucyrus Historical Society invites you for a visit that will deliver a memorable experience! Admission to the Bucyrus Historical Society is free but donations are appreciated and membership is encouraged!

Bucyrus Historical Society membership preserves the history of our community, supports programming at Scroggs House, and provides access to priceless artifacts and archival collections. Members are invited to share interests and expertise by participating in and volunteering for special events, open houses, tours, presentations, gardening, decorating, and so much more!
