BUCYRUS HISTORY DAY

Aug. 4th Bucyrus Historical Society will be hosting its Annual BUCYRUS HISTORY DAY at the Scroggs House, 202 S. Walnut, between the hours of 11:00 am and 4:00 pm. There is no charge to get in, just come and enjoy the day. Rensselaer St. will be blocked off between Walnut and Lane St. 
This is activity is put on by the Society, to make people "Aware" of the Bucyrus Historical Society's existence, and to generate some historic interest in our citizens while having some fun.

1spinner_071401.jpg (28426 bytes)Among the activities this year, we have the "Antique Appraisal".Bring in your antiques to have them appraised or just try to stump the appraisers.We also will have demonstrations on making BROOMS, SHINGLES and WEAVING around the turn of the Century. Antique cars, tractors, bicycles, motor scooters and fire truck will be there for viewing. There will be GRANNY'S HOMEMADE ICE CREAM and popcorn. Other foods and drinks provided by the Explorer Post 117 will be available to purchase.

The Scroggs and Carriage House will be open for public viewing.
